Today I’d like to talk some about Archangels. Thanks
to Supernatural, I felt so curious
about them, so I did a little search about them. We may be familiar with the
term angel, but what is Archangel actually?
An Archangel
is an angel in high rank. Let’s say, they have higher position than normal
angels. The word archangel is derived
from the Greek ἀρχάγγελος
(arch- + angel, literally chief angel).
Archangels are found in some religions such as Judaism, Christianity, and
Islam. Each religion recognizes different numbers of Archangels which kinda
makes me confused how to explain them, but I’ll take the point of view where we
recognize seven of them. These seven
Archangels are assigned for seven days in a week – each Archangel protects one
day.
MICHAEL
Day : Sunday
Assignation :
Protection
Daily Affirmation : "I am committed to all that God intends for
me and the universe."
Celestial Title :
Angel
of Patience
Archangel Michael is committed to seeing to
it that each and everyone of us reaches their full potential as intended by God.
He is considered one of the great Chaldean Princes, christened as one of the
greatest of all the angels and his kingdom is all inclusive of everything on
Earth. He will do all that he can to protect the path, eliminating evil as a
part of keeping the journey directed. His greatest gift to us is the energy he
transmits within us; a positive force that leaves peace, love and beauty in its
aftermath.
His presence is fairly easy to detect by
simply taking an assessment of your own spiritual growth. If it has been
growing exponentially over a short period of time, if opportunities to grow
spiritually are being put before you like a banquet or if your appetite for
spiritual knowledge has increased, you can rest assured that Michael is working
diligently to feed you. He is committed to you and your spiritual destiny for
it is his own.
Michael is a true spiritual Warrior; the one
you should summon when the challenge seems a bit overwhelming. Give him the
pleasure of coming to your rescue. Open your heart and soul to his tremendous
strength and power. God’s presence reigns mightily within his spirit.
GABRIEL
Day : Monday
Assignation : Annunciation
Daily Affirmation : "Today I
will embrace all that comes into my life and raise the
spirits of others."
Celestial Title : Angel of Mercy
Archangel Gabriel is the presence of God. He speaks
without saying a word and the news that he bears is significant. He is an
alchemist from heaven turning a starved moment into a hearty feast. He
announces the coming of goodness and fortune. When a phone rings with news of
support after countless months of no response, it is Gabriel that dials the
phone and speaks through the party on the other end. He is delivering God’s
gift and he is relentless in his efforts to do so. He is incredibly purposeful
but equally as reserved in a very majestic and powerful sort of way. In that
bright moment our energy body is heightened and that which appears hopeful is
cloaked in a knowingness. Then in celebration he wraps his magnificent wings
around you and you lovingly melt into the significance of God`s glory and just
be.
In a moment with Gabriel we remember what our purpose
is and how to go about staying on task. Call to Gabriel if you have a tendency
to forget. Listen to him by acknowledging the wisdom of your own intuition. His
silent presence will speak volumes and you will smile for a long while as you
and he become one in raising the spirits of others.
CAMAEL
Day : Tuesday

Justice

Celestial Title : Angel of Love
Camael (Latin Camael), Means one who seeks God. (also known as
Kamuel, Chamuel, Camiel, Camniel) is an angel
in Judeo-Christian mythology and angelology, and is often included in lists as
being one of the seven archangels. He is claimed to be the leader
of the forces that expelled Adam from the Garden of Eden. Camael is an angel who revanges the light,
also war-like and punishes those who are against God. Also known as an angel of
Love, he is covered with fire.
Camael is fueled by your love and there is a
sensation of powerful reciprocity that occurs in an
exchange with this Archangel. Camael helps the pure
hearted reach victory in their efforts to help others, but be sure that you take excellent care of yourself before
helping those in need of your assistance.
RAPHAEL
Born : Wednesday
Assignation : Healing
Daily Affirmation : "I will work with the angels to overcome sickness
and disease
and be filled with peace."
Celestial Title : Angel of Science and Knowledge
Raphael in
Hebrew means "It is God who
heals", "God Heals",
"God, Please Heal". Archangel Raphael is credited with healing the earth and its
inhabitants. He is very diligent about seeing that healing centers and
hospitals have all that they need in order to perform God’s work. Those that
place an emphasis on beauty, health and fitness are directly influenced by this
angel. Their passion becomes their mission and others benefit greatly from
their seemingly innate pursuit.
Raphael reminds us that our bodies are just vehicles for our spirit and that we
must learn to care for it with great attention. The body has an intelligence
and can comprehend healing thoughts. Close your eyes when ill or fatigued and
ask Raphael to send God’s healing energy through your body. Stay in prayer
until the discomfort lifts and repeat the process if it should reoccur.
Raphael has many answers for you but your responsibility to yourself and your
body is to ask. He can assist you in changing your lifestyle, your eating
habits and the way you choose to spend negative energy. He can help you stay
fit for the mission.
METATRON
Born : Thursday
Assignation : Thought
Daily Affirmation : "I can
create from the power of my own thoughts."
Celestial Title : Angel of the Covenant
In Rabbinic tradition, Metatron is the highest of the angels and serves as the celestial scribe. Archangel Metatron,
also referred to as the 'Chancellor of
Heaven', and in some angelology circles is said to be more powerful than
Gabriel or Michael. Metatron is assigned to the sustenance of mankind and holds
the link between human and the divine. Consequently he is able to infiltrate
earthly intelligence very easily. He supervises our thoughts and deeds and
assists us in recording them for future access. Metatron's objective is to keep
your thoughts free of clutter so that your are ready and able to receive the
truths that will allow you to become the best you can be. He will help you
connect to your own truth and higher self if you ask.
Metatron
reminds us that everything begins with a thought. This angel sparks our
imagination and fuels our own powers of manifestation.
URIEL
Born : Friday
Assignation : Ministration
Daily Affirmation : "I am of
the Sun and never without the light of God."
Celestial Title : Archangel of Salvation
Archangel Uriel ("fire of God")
Uriel started drawing attention early on his career as he has been identified
through the ages as both a cherub ( a toddler) and as a seraph or seraphim (a
more mature angel). His earliest account of rising to the occasion is best
described in the book of Revelation for his role as Regent of the Sun. He
called forth the birds to feast upon the fallen in supporting the cycle of
life. He later warned Noah of the impending flood. Fortunately for Noah and all
of us, Raphael stepped in to help build the ark. Uriel is the spirit of
Ministration and Peace; always saving the day. The Magus claims that Uriel gave
the cabala to man; 'the key to the mystical interpretation of scripture'. His
mission is to help you manifest stability and relief from life’s pressures when
there doesn’t seem to be any. If you are open to Uriel’s assistance, he’ll be
there in a heartbeat. Cry out for God and like all archangels he can travel
faster than the speed of light; meaning he can get from one end of the universe
to the other in less than a one second. That’s why he’s sometimes in many
places at once. He views his role of responsibility as one that manifests your
quest to be your best; seeing to it that you shine in everything you do, just
like the sun.
CASSIEL
Born : Saturday
Assignation : Creative Power
Daily Affirmation : "I am
grateful for seas of wonder & significance"
Celestial Title : Angel of Temperance
Archangel Cassiel, Accessing the Source is
his specialty. He is a manifestor born out of the understanding of desire. 'De
Sire' meaning of God. He holds the power to create new realities quickly.
Divine light swirls around and through this angel for he knows how to harness
it so exquisitely that only greatness transpires from the vision to the
physical.
Cassiel is drawn to divine frequencies and
consequently presides over dolphins, and other oceanic life. Water is a divine
conductor and Cassiel gathers its energy by product using it to cleanse away
feelings of negativity leaving clarity available to heal, feel and reveal.
Cassiel asks you to give thanks for all your blessings and in return bestows
upon you the power to share your spiritual gifts with others.
Cassiel will draw you into places of worship;
places where the divine is strongly present. You will feel Cassiel’s presence
out on the open sea, under a large oak tree, on the streets of sacred grounds
(Ephesus, pyramids) and in the sanctity of your own prayer circle.
It’s the TV Show Supernatural that makes me curious
about the Archangel where there’s a character named Castiel (portrayed by Misha
Collins) and I found out that Castiel is the Angel of Thursday (I remember Balthazar
mentioned it in season six of the show). The source I use to review says that
the angel of Thursday is Metatron, and Cassiel or perhaps Castiel (I dunno
whether they’re the same) is the angel of Saturday. Other source I found, there
are some angels assigned on a day, depend on the months. Well… This post is
just for entertaining anyway so don’t get confused by it (like me) haha.
